The Union of Swiss Cities (SSV) is politically committed to the interests of urban areas. It informs the public about urban Switzerland, develops the bases for decision-making and offers its members a platform for the exchange of experience and networking among themselves. Services for the benefit of its members are another aspect of the Union’s activities. Founded in 1897, the Union of Swiss Cities now has 128 members.
