The Archivio del Moderno is a foundation, archive and study centre that is part of the Università della Svizzera italiana. It preserves archives of architects, engineers, urban planners and designers of Italian culture from the end of the 18th century to the present day. In addition to ordering and inventorying the collections, it promotes international research, produces publications as well as organises and participates in exhibitions based on its documentary holdings.
