The KSD is an association that has been in existence since 1985. It fosters professional exchange and the flow of information among its members. At the Swiss level, it formulates the basis for the work of monument conservation. The objective is to work according to uniform standards. In the public sphere and in national politics, the KSD represents the concerns of the specialised agencies for monument preservation and actively contributes to the political and social discourse with position statements on national proposals.
