The Architectural Council unites all twelve institutions of higher education in Switzerland as well as the professional associations SIA and BSA. The Architecture Council seeks to promote teaching and research in the field of architecture by creating a national platform with international visibility. It takes positions on fundamental issues of teaching and research. The Architecture Council maintains contact with policy makers, other professional organisations and the business sector.
