The presentation of several projects in the Alpine area – a dining building in a protected area on Lake Cauma in the Grisons by Corinna Menn and community outdoor spaces in a village in Ticino designed by studioser – opens up the debate on the new centrality of peripheral places (a theme previously addressed with Jonathan Sergison in 2021), connecting areas threatened by the phenomena of Overtourism with those at risk of abandonment.
